Dana White reveals surprising demographic change to White House event

With lower than just a few weeks left for the much-awaited UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House, the MMA company’s President Dana White has now opened up and revealed a serious demographic change for the event.

“Well, your father-in-law [Donald Trump], he wants this to be mostly for the military,” White said. “So there’s going to be 4,300 people there. I just literally went over it immediately, 4,300 people, and most of them shall be military.”

Although MMA fans who’re fascinated with watching the show could accomplish that from an 85,000-seater venue across the road. “Across the road is the Ellipse,” he continued. “For many who don’t know, the Ellipse is a large park that’s literally, you’ll have the ability to see the fight from the Ellipse. But we have now screens, we’ve got stages, we have now music, we have now activations over there. We’re going to offer away about 85,000 tickets. And there’s a process. You’ve to register for tickets, and so they’re free.

“But it’s best to come to Washington, D.C. that week, the week of the fight. We’re going to be doing all types of things in D.C. for fans. It’s really a cool city. Probably most individuals have never been. When you’re a UFC fan, this is completely positively the time to return to D.C.,” White concluded.

UFC is ready to carry its UFC Freedom 250 on the White House in Washington, D.C., on Jun. 14, 2026.
