On Tuesday, May 5, Joe McCann took to X, formerly generally known as Twitter, to share a lengthy statement, breaking his silence on the death of Ashlee Jenae, also generally known as Ashly Robinson. Moreover, McCann explained that “there are not any adequate words to explain the entire devastation, emptiness, and shock” he feels losing his “best friend, confidante, and fiancé.”
“As a father myself, I’m also heartbroken for Ashly’s parents, Yolanda Endres and Harry Robinson. Ashly’s death is an incomprehensible tragedy,” he continued. “…Ashly cared deeply for the people closest to her, which to my everlasting gratitude included me. She fattened me up along with her amazing cooking and had an awesome relationship with my kids. Every day, we shared each quiet moments of reflection and the various joys of being in love with one another… What Ashly desired most was to grow to be a mother and to boost a family together. There is no such thing as a query that she would have been a tremendous mom.”
Before concluding his lengthy statement, he referred to Jenae as an “angel who shined her light on everyone fortunate enough to be in her presence.”
“There is no such thing as a option to fill the unfillable void left by Ashly’s passing and no option to make sense of this unfathomable loss. All we are able to do is carry on Ashly’s legacy of helping other people and strive to live as much as her virtues each day. Ashly, I like you eternally,” he concluded.
To notice, McCann reportedly shared his statement amid Ashlee Jenae’s being laid to rest at her funeral without his attendance on Tuesday, May 5. Per TMZ, her family didn’t invite him to the service.
