Khamzat Chimaev is just not the one man UFC security could have to maintain Sean Strickland separate from in Newark.
The polarizing American contender will headline Saturday’s UFC 328 event on the Prudential Center, as he looks to develop into a two-time middleweight champion.
Strickland will challenge Chimaev, who remained undefeated when he did what his upcoming opponent did not do by dominating Dricus du Plessis last August.
The pair’s heated feud has sparked talk of a confrontation during fight week, but ‘Borz’ is just not the one fighter who has been a goal of Strickland’s on the microphone.

Josh Hokit hits back at Sean Strickland after being in comparison with ’13-year-old Jake Paul’
Dana White canceled Strickland’s Paramount face-off with Chimaev over fears that the pair would come to blows.
The arrival of Josh Hokit in Newark for Friday’s UFC White House press conference may spark similar worries after his recent exchange with the previous middleweight champ.
During a media scrum earlier this week, Strickland unloaded on Hokit’s persona, which caused a stir in Miami ahead of the heavyweight contender’s impressive win over Curtis Blaydes.
Strickland suggested the 29-year-old is simply too old to be playing a personality, comparing his schtick to a ’13-year-old’ Jake Paul.
Unsurprisingly, it has not taken long for ‘The Incredible Hok’ to reply.
“Let’s fight… I’ll show you the difference between me and Jake Paul,” Hokit wrote on X.
“Shawn Strickland, complaining a few persona is sort of a circus clown complaining about too many balloons,” he added in one other post. “You’re just mad because my WWE skit has higher rankings than your personality.”
Hokit sparked an altercation with Jiri Prochazka ahead of UFC 327, showing he is just not afraid of confronting his peers, even in the event that they will not be in the identical division.
UFC security will little doubt be keeping an in depth eye on ‘The Incredible Hok’ in Newark, especially given the presence of Strickland and Chimaev, each of whom will not be strangers to clashes away from the Octagon.
