In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios has confirmed that a surprise is in store. “We’re not done with Dhurandhar yet. We’ll hopefully have a surprise for the audience later this 12 months. There’s something up our sleeves,” she said.

After the large success of Part 1 in 2025, which collected Rs. 895.96 crores, Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026) went even larger, earning a staggering Rs. 1100.55 crores on the box office. The franchise didn’t just break records; it broke rules. It broke records not only in India but overseas as well.
An A-rated film, with no traditional A-list female lead, unapologetic violence, an extended runtime, and a daring two-part release strategy – Dhurandhar defied all so-called business formulas. And yet, audiences embraced it wholeheartedly, turning it right into a cultural and box office phenomenon.
