In an interview with HT City, she shared, “Yes, Milind and I even have moved to Bangkok. We’ve even bought a house there, which I’ve been establishing as per my taste.” She added, “Milind and I realised that it’s a greater opportunity for him in terms of his work there. And truthfully, for me too, it felt exciting. I’d at all times feel like I’m on a vacation there, so why not? Now we have at all times believed in supporting one another to grow, even once we were dating for seven years. If I get a project that takes me away for months, he supports that completely. Similarly, I don’t think I should stop his growth either.”
She further explained, “Even after I was in Mumbai, I used to be shooting in Hyderabad, Rajahmundry or Visakhapatnam. I realised that it doesn’t really should be Mumbai where I even have my base.” While Bangkok is now her home, Avika clarified that her skilled commitments in India remain unaffected. “I even have only been there for a couple of month now and I’m mostly in Hyderabad or Mumbai due to work. The priority will at all times be my commitments because those are the things that made me who I’m today,” she shared.
When asked if she’s concerned about missing out on work opportunities by not being in India, she responded confidently, “Every part that comes my way happens in keeping with my schedule, so I don’t think that’s going to be a constraint ever. At the top of the day, when any person desires to work with me, they need to—they usually higher—make all of the efforts for me. Once I shared my decision to maneuver, people within the industry were very supportive.”
Avika Shares Her Excitement
Expressing her excitement in regards to the move, the 28-year-old said, “For the primary time, I’m deciding all the pieces myself—from the furniture to how the home will look. Growing up, you reside in spaces shaped by your parents or later your in-laws, but that is the primary space that really looks like ours.”
While Milind continues to remain in Bangkok for work, Avika plans to travel forwards and backwards depending on her skilled commitments. “My parents are here, his family is here, everybody is here. So our soul stays in India. I’ll soon be leaving for the Khatron Ke Khiladi shoot, and my south film is releasing. All in all, I’m in the perfect phase of my life,” she concludes.
Avika will likely be next seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 15. She was last seen in Pati, Patni Aur Panga season 3.
