Mouni and Suraj got married in Goa in January 2022. Their wedding was held on the Hilton Goa Resort in Candolim. The ceremony included each Malayali and Bengali traditions. The couple first married in keeping with Malayali rituals, followed by a Bengali wedding later within the day.

The Naagin actor is from Cooch Behar in West Bengal. Suraj is a businessman and investment banker based in Dubai and belongs to a Jain family from Bengaluru. Relations and shut friends attended their wedding. Amongst those present were Arjun Bijlani, Mandira Bedi, Aashka Goradia, Shivaani Malik Singh, Roopali Kadyan, Meet Brothers, Omkar Kapoor, Rahul Shetty, Pratik Utekar and Vanessa Walia.

Her upcoming film is Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is about to release in theatres on June 5.
