While sharing the clip, Rupali also remembered Satish Shah, saying she missed him ‘dearly.’

Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai was initially considered a flop. In 2023, Satish Shah spoke about Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai during an interview with Rajshri. He said, “The makers of Sarabhai got here to my house, and so they narrated me the entire story that there’s a role of a father. I used to be listening to it seriously and told them, ‘Okay, let’s do it.’ After we began the show, it was taken off air since it had low TRPs. I don’t want responsible anyone. We had worked sincerely. But people realised later once they again saw it, and after that it (TRP) went on rising.”
“The explanation behind making the serial was that the channel Star One, they desired to cater to the upper set of society. So the thought was to begin an elite channel that may be enjoyed by the upper crust of society. I even have met girls who told me, ‘I might like to have a father-in-law such as you.’ I even have met guys who said, ‘I might like to have a father such as you.’ I even have met women who said, ‘I might hate to have a husband such as you,’” the actor added.

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai first aired in 2004, with a second season premiering in 2017. Although a 3rd season was reportedly within the works, there have been no recent updates on the project. Back in 2024, JD Majethia told SCREEN, “It is vitally much in mind, but for it to be on paper, there must be some wow factor. So in the event you all pray, something should come up, but Sarabhai 3 could be very much on the cards.”
