BCCI Confirms 25-Over Contest After Rain Delay In Dharamsala
After a lengthy delay, fans finally received excellent news because the Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed that play would restart at 5:45 PM. The sport was reduced to 25 overs per side, with each teams getting a five-over powerplay.
Meanwhile, India handed debut caps to children Gurnoor Brar and Harsh Dubey, with senior batter KL Rahul presenting the caps. India skipper Shubman Gill won the necessary toss and selected to bowl first.
Despite the rain interruption, India will look to make a powerful begin to the ODI series. The sport also offers a helpful probability for several young players to showcase their talent, especially with a couple of senior stars missing as a consequence of injuries and workload management.
