On June 14, actress Sanchita Ugale tragically passed away at age 22 after allegedly committing suicide. As investigation continues to be underway on the subject of why she took the tragic step, actor and MP Ravi Kishan has reacted young people within the country are turning to suicide. He not only called the act of taking one’s life ‘a grave sin’ but additionally stated that meditation and spirituality may also help one find the courage to face life’s problems.
Ravi Kishan Reacts To Sanchita Ugale Dying By Suicide
During a recent interaction with PTI, Ravi Kishan commented on young people ending their lives by committing suicide. Without taking Sanchita Ugale’s name, the actor-politician spoke of how a 22-year-old actor recently died by alleged suicide. Calling it ‘sad,’ he said, “Isiliye meditation zaroori hai, adhyatma zaroori hai, puja paath zaroori hai, thoda shaktiyan milti hai. (This is the reason meditation is essential, spirituality is essential, and praying is essential; you gain strength from it.)
He continued, “Sukh dukh to aate rehte hai, vo aate rahenge. Aisa koi vyakti nahi hai jo dukhi nahi hai, chintan nahi hai jisko. Lekin zinda bhi rehna hai. (You’ll proceed to experience each happiness and sadness in life. There’s no person who hasn’t experienced sadness or worry. But, you should also stay alive).”
Explaining why he said the above, Ravi Kishan stated, “Suicide to sabse bada paap hai, vo aatma ko kabhi moksh hi nahi milta. Jo bhi aatmahatya karta hai, uski aatma yahi bhatakti hai. Kyunki usne apne nirdharit samay par praan nahi tyaga. Pehle le liya. To vo vahin aatmayen banke, pret pishach banke, yahi ghoomte hai. (It’s an important sin to die by suicide; souls like that never find salvation. The souls of people that die by suicide roam here. It’s because they took their life before it was destined. Souls like that turn into spirits or supernatural entities and roam here).”
