Based on the manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, Oshi no Ko quickly became considered one of the largest anime releases of 2023. The series gained widespread attention for its feature-length premiere episode and its story exploring the entertainment industry from behind the scenes.
The anime follows Aqua and Ruby, the youngsters of popular idol Ai Hoshino. As they turn into involved within the worlds of music, television, and entertainment, they start uncovering secrets hidden beneath the industry’s glamorous public image.
