Eddie Kingston’s celebration of the Latest York Knicks’ 2026 NBA Championship became quite the scene.
The Yonkers, Latest York native recently reflected on watching his hometown team capture the NBA title by defeating the San Antonio Spurs within the 2026 NBA Finals. One of the crucial memorable moments of the series got here in Game 4, when the Knicks erased a 29-point deficit before OG Anunoby delivered a tip-in on the buzzer to secure the dramatic victory.
Speaking during a virtual signing with Highspots, Kingston shared just how emotional he became after the game-winning basket. Based on Kingston, he erupted with excitement, screaming and throwing things around his home in celebration of the stunning comeback and finish.
The response was apparently loud enough to concern those living nearby. Kingston revealed that the commotion prompted his neighbors to call the police, believing something serious was happening inside his residence. He said,
“OG Anunoby! Oh man. My neighbors called the cops on me after OG hit that shot to win the sport for the Knicks, because I used to be screaming and yelling and I threw a bunch of stuff in the home.”
In the course of the same virtual signing, Kingston commented on Cody Rhodes. He said,
“He’s such a polarizing figure, you recognize what I mean? And I just know him because the dude that I fought to get my job.”
