The family support didn’t stop there. Victoria Beckham also made sure to have a good time her husband publicly while including Brooklyn within the family memories she shared online. 

Posting a throwback holiday snap featuring David, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, she praised her husband as a loyal father.

She wrote, “David you truly are the perfect daddy. Your best achievement has at all times been our beautiful children and we love you a lot. Blissful Father’s Day.”

The Father’s Day silence followed every week of renewed controversy surrounding Brooklyn Beckham. 

As The Blast reported, the aspiring chef faced backlash just a few days ago over a two-part DoorDash campaign that many interpreted as one other dig at his famous family.

Within the teaser clip, Brooklyn smirked while saying, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a protracted story.”

Critics quickly interpreted the road as a reference to his fractured relationship with David and Victoria. Friends of the family reportedly described the couple as “devastated and inconsolable” over what they viewed as a public jab.

The longer version of the commercial, released days later, generated much more criticism. Comment sections crammed with backlash from followers who accused Brooklyn of using the family feud to generate publicity.

The DoorDash campaign didn’t just spark criticism over its messaging. Reports also surfaced suggesting Brooklyn received a major payday for the partnership. In line with reports, he was paid “no less than $1 million” for the campaign.

In line with Page Six, one source defended the deal, saying, “Anything that makes him money is nice – it shows that his brand is there and flourishing.”

Not everyone shared that view. An insider told the outlet, “Brooklyn claims he wants peace and privacy and nothing to do together with his family – now he’s attempting to money in on all of it.”

The criticism was especially sharp since it got here only months after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz publicly expressed their desire for privacy.
