North West publicly marked Father’s Day by sharing rare photos with dad, Kanye West.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 21, North, 13, shared a throwback photo of herself standing next to Kanye, 49, while wearing a dark-colored gimp mask very like her father’s. Looking up at Kanye, whose 2021 Donda album rollout saw the musician and models rocking various full-coverage facial masks on the time, North paired her mask with a bullet-proof vest with “Donda” written across the front.
Kanye wore an identical vest to the one worn by North, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “Joyful Father’s Day,” North captioned the snap before posting a second throwback photo from an excellent earlier time when she was helping Kanye plan one in every of his runway shows.
Each posts were accompanied by two of Kanye’s musical hits: 2016’s “Wolves” from The Lifetime of Pablo, and 2008’s “Say You Will” from 808s & Heartbreak.
Kim, 45, also marked Father’s Day via her own Instagram on Sunday, sharing several Instagram Stories that focused on her late father, Robert Kardashian. Her first post showed a photograph of a home made card, created by a child-aged Kim, that read, “Joyful Father’s Day! Love, Kimberly,” while a second Instagram Story showed a card with the caption, “He saved every card I wrote him.”
The second card’s message read, “Dad, I just want you to understand how much I appreciate every part you do for me. I like working for you. I like you and completely satisfied Father’s Day! Kimberley.” (Kim worked for Robert, who died in 2003 at age 59, at his cinema music business.)

While North rarely shares photos of time spent with Kanye, the pair surprised fans in January by performing together in Mexico. During Kanye’s Mexico City show on January 30, North was brought out as a VIP guest and the pair performed an unreleased duet that was captured via social media on the time.

“You understand, I never left you,” West, who wore an all-white jumpsuit, sang, sang on the time per circulated footage. “‘Cause every road that results in heaven is correct beside you / so I can say, ‘Hello, my just one.”
North is the eldest daughter of Kanye and Kim, who divorced in 2021 after seven years of marriage. The pair also share sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, in addition to daughter Chicago, 8.

Last week, Kim celebrated North’s graduation into teenhood by sharing a loving tribute via Instagram. “Joyful Birthday my Northiiiiiieeeeeeeee (Uzi voice!!!),” Kim wrote alongside pics of North through the years. “I can’t imagine you’re officially a youngster!!!!! There’s nobody such as you my baby girl! I like being your mom and watching you grow. I like you to the aliens galaxies you’ll speak of as a child and beyond. 🖤👽🛸🩵💙.”
