Chad Gable’s apology tour hit one other roadblock on this week’s episode of WWE RAW, as Maxxine Dupri firmly rejected his try and reunite with Alpha Academy.
Through the show, Gable got here to the ring and offered a heartfelt apology to his former stablemates, Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri. The emotional moment appeared to resonate with Otis and Tozawa, who seemed willing to listen to him out and consider putting the past behind them.
Dupri, nevertheless, was far less forgiving.
The previous Alpha Academy member accused Gable of lying and reminded him of the best way he had treated the group during his time as their leader. Making it clear that she had no real interest in accepting his apology, Dupri delivered a blunt message, telling Gable that Alpha Academy didn’t need him before and so they definitely don’t need him now.
The rejection marks one other setback for Gable, who has been attempting to repair relationships ever since losing the El Grande Americano mask back in May. While Otis and Tozawa appeared open to reconciliation, Dupri’s response showed that not everyone seems to be able to forgive and forget.
