On Sunday, June 21, the official YouTube page for Beyoncé’s haircare brand, Cécred, released a 7-minute video titled “The Blueprint.” The footage was narrated by Bey, and she or he explained that Jay desired to “comb out his locs” as a homage to his dad and for his performance on the Roots Picnic in May. Moreover, she revealed the true reason Jay had opted for the look years back.
“I believed it was all the time beautiful that the true reason Jay grew out his hair was to point out Blue that her hair was like his hair,” Bey explained.
Ultimately, the footage showed Bey and Blue assisting with caring for Jay’s hair and eventually removing his locs.
