Eddie Hearn has added a second UFC fighter to his Matchroom Talent Agency.

In March, Tom Aspinall signed with Hearn in a business and advisory deal to be able to make probably the most out of his profession.

On August 15, Ian Machado Garry will challenge Islam Makhachev for the welterweight title in an enormous matchup for the Irish contender.

It was announced on June 24 that ‘The Future’ is now set to have Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Talent Agency in his corner ahead of his first shot at UFC gold.

He explained that while they weren’t trying to fill their roster with UFC fighters following Tom Aspinall’s signing, he specifically reached out to Machado Garry.

“I checked out this guy for a very long time. I really like his spirit. I really like his personality. He’s a superb, tall, good looking guy who speaks incredibly well and I’ve long felt that it is a guy that I actually think has the attributes to be a superstar… I couldn’t be happier. These guys, they get it. Ian Garry has the potential to be a crossover star.”

Hearn explained that his cope with Machado Garry differs from the one they’ve with Aspinall.

He said that while they work on lots of strategy on the UFC side with Aspinall, Machado Garry’s deal is all about constructing his brand and dealing with partners.

Hearn also spoke concerning the incredible success that he’s already had with the present UFC heavyweight champion despite criticisms of the deal.

He stated that Aspinall now makes more cash away from fighting than he does in it, saying that the Brit has “already driven over seven figures.”
