In the fact show Maa Hai Na, audiences get to witness a more intimate side of her as she shares the screen along with her son, Kshitij. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up about revealing a softer side of herself, raising her son away from the chaos of fame, and why she believes moms across the country will relate to her journey. Scroll all the way down to read what she said.
You’ve at all times been seen as a powerful, confident personality on screen. Did Maa Hai Na give audiences a probability to see a softer, more personal side of you?
“Yes, in fact, I feel the show has given me a probability to disclose and the audience a probability to see one other side of me once more. This time of a mother.”
Your bond together with your child has at all times been admired. How did that dynamic translate in a competitive, high-pressure environment?
“Firstly, thanks for saying that my bond with my child has at all times been admired, but to be honest, I feel every parent and child bond is admirable. So far as the competitive high-pressure environment goes, Kshitij is essentially the most chilled-out boy I do know of. Now we have a really unique bond. If I’m the storm. He’s calm! But then, because the saying goes, there’s at all times calmness before the storm. In that way, in fact, we’re totally connected.”
Your journey is inspiring to many. Do you are feeling audiences, especially moms, will see a mirrored image of their very own lives in you on this show?
“I’m humbled to know that my journey has been inspiring to many. Though that was never a planned thing. All of us strive to encourage no less than one person in our life, and if I actually have done so, I’m truly humbled! so far as mother connecting with me and seeing a mirrored image of their lives in me goes. I’m quite sure if not many, loads of them will connect with me. All of us have our own journeys, and trust me after I say this, all of them encourage me in many alternative ways, too.”
