Nic Nemeth is back on top of TNA Wrestling.
Within the primary event of TNA Slammiversary 2026, Nemeth defeated Mike Santana to turn into the brand new TNA World Champion, reclaiming the corporate’s top prize for the second time in his profession.
The closing moments saw Santana try to put Nemeth away with Spin the Block, but after losing a major amount of blood throughout the match, he collapsed before he could connect with the move. Nemeth immediately capitalized on the opening, delivering the Danger Zone to attain the pinfall and capture the championship.
The victory marks Nemeth’s second reign as TNA World Champion.
Santana’s title reign involves an end after 164 days. During his run as champion, he successfully defended the TNA World Championship six times before falling to Nemeth at Slammiversary 2026.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, there are rumors that Santana is WWE-bound.
