Ram Kapoor recently found himself on the centre of a web-based debate after saying that infidelity in a wedding is “not a deal breaker” during an episode of Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa. His comments drew strong reactions each on social media and throughout the show. Amid the continuing conversation, his wife, Gautami Kapoor, has publicly expressed her support for him.
Gautami shared a cheerful picture with Ram on her Instagram Stories and captioned it, “Only love @ramkapoor.” She also reposted a video of Sadhguru speaking about love and trust, seemingly echoing the sentiment. Within the clip, he says, “If love is true, it’s going to occur without an object. If it’s really real true love, it’s going to occur. The controversy began on a recent episode of Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa, where Ram spoke about forgiveness in long-term relationships while discussing infidelity. In the course of the conversation, Shreya Kalra asked, “You understand your partner cheated on you, so what’s the answer? Do you explore other options since you don’t feel the identical connection?” The discussion followed Harshad Chopda’s revelation that his girlfriend had cheated on him along with his best friend. Responding to the query, Ram said, “No, you will have to search out the connection again.”
He further explained, “In case you really love your partner, nothing is a deal breaker. Marriage is tough, and it’s a journey. You might have to work at it day-after-day. Sometimes, after 20-25 years, you will have highs and lows, good and bad periods.
