Ever since Yash Raj Movies announced its Spy Universe, everyone was excited to the core! Reason being it brought together three of the most important stars of Indian Cinema – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan! Fans were more excited after they heard a couple of female-led spy thriller from this Universe. Finally, after an extended wait, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, together with Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, have arrived with Alpha – the newest offering from the Spy Universe!
Ziddi Ladkiya Hi Duniya Badalti Hain!
The film starts with the backstory of this latest mission, how it began with Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, a day after the Kargil War! Why is that this mission essential, and what’s the importance of the film before it dives straight into the brand new world created within the Spy Universe?
Inside the first 30-35 minutes of the film, Alpha establishes its world with sharp attention to detail. Taking a look at this brand-new world of the Spy Universe, I’m intrigued by where it should lead by the point it reaches the finish line. I have already got three very distinct thoughts concerning the film that may change the course of this Universe. But will they really change the course of the Spy Universe?!
Bobby Deol Looks A Bit Off
Bobby Deol is an ex-army officer who’s raising a bunch of youngsters, and your entire experiment will make you’re thinking that this is a few Stranger Things mission from Hawkins’ Lab. The one difference here is that the children listed below are being prepared within the name of the country’s welfare and protection! But Bobby Deol’s accent could be very weird, and you can not unhear it when you hear it!
The Little Sita!
A baby artist has been roped in to play young Alia Bhatt. And she or he has been told to tweak her lips to at least one side, which she has aced brilliantly! But I wish we could see something less forced to match Alia Bhatt!
What’s With That Dialogue Delivery
Alia Bhatt enters the frame wearing a tank top and eating fries. She is pulling off some excellent kicks, but truthfully, none of them look impressive enough! Adding to those fight sequences is a really off and loud background rating, and I can’t appreciate it.
Nonetheless, that is just the primary half-hour of the film, and hopefully it covers up in the following 2 hours, but currently it looks like a really tough journey for Alpha!
