LisaRaye Says She Feels Conflicted About ‘Spend Dat’

During a recent interview with Carlos King, LisaRaye said she feels conflicted about whether to rock with ‘Spend Dat’ after realizing what Yung Miami actually says on the record. LisaRaye previously went viral for hopping on the ‘Spend Dat’ challenge, and said she used it to announce her TikTok account and to rejoice with a trend. “I’m conflicted because I don’t imagine within the words of the song. After I was listening to it before I did it, ‘I said wait a minute, what the f*** is she saying?’” 

From there, LisaRaye told Carlos she understands why some people feel a way concerning the record. Nonetheless, she still stands on the incontrovertible fact that she was just having fun. “It’s just for fun, it’s to not be taken literally,” Lisa explained.

Trick Daddy Tells Miami To Let The Haters Keep Hating

Trick Daddy also entered the chat about Miami’s viral record and he made it clear he’s sticking beside her and the song. He said she has the most well liked record on the earth and doesn’t understand why the song gets a lot hate, especially from older women. He said he’s not here for older women attempting to goal a young Black woman who’s out here having fun, attending to her bag, and doing something positive.

“Every single day y’all get on this web and act like y’all life is peaches and cream,” Trick said. “Yung Miami you higher not let these old raggedy b*****s deter nothing you are attempting to do.”

Trick Daddy didn’t stop there — he kept getting in on the ladies who had something negative to say about Miami’s song. He didn’t name-drop anyone, but he said music isn’t for everyone and everybody gets to decide on what they take heed to.

She jumped into the conversation on Threads after a user called for a boycott of the song and said it was downgrading the culture. In her post, India explained that the song’s acceptance points to a much bigger truth. In the course of the controversy, she also clarified that she never desired to boycott the song — she just said the best way people embrace It says quite a bit about where we stand as culture.

Despite all the continued discuss her summer anthem, Yung Miami appears to be unfazed. LiveBitez dropped a clip of her performing in Tallahassee, Florida at Potbelly on July 1st. The video shows Caresha wearing an identical pink set while throwing money at the group as ‘Spend Dat’ blasts through the venue. She then starts rapping the lyrics and dancing along to the song.
