JAMES HOPES has been appointed the brand new head coach of Queensland’s men’s set-up, including the Brisbane Heat within the BBL, following the late withdrawal of former Australia captain Tim Paine. The move comes lower than two months after Hopes was named Sydney Sixers’ coach, but a return to his home state was reportedly too good of a proposal for the previous Australia white-ball all-rounder to show down.
