A brand new Hatsune Miku game was revealed at Saturday’s Hatsune Miku panel during Anime Expo 2026, and it looks to a departure from the rhythm games the virtual singer is best known for. Hatsune Miku: Starry Party is a celebration motion game for as much as six players, published by Good Smile Company and set to launch in 2027 on Switch 2 and PC via Steam. The announcement got here with a teaser trailer set to “StargazeR,” and the official description keeps things easy: “Run, jump, and collect stars with your mates.”
The sport leans on Good Smile’s Nendoroid line, with the characters shown stylized because the chibi collectible figures the corporate is understood for. The roster includes Miku alongside fellow virtual singers Rin, Len, Luka, Meiko, and Kaito, with additional characters teased on the panel. Crypton Future Media, the corporate behind Hatsune Miku, is attached to the project with Good Smile, and the sport will support Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese at launch. The teaser is a conceptual one, though, as no gameplay was shown.
Miku has been popping up in other games over the past couple of years, joining Crypt of the NecroDancer as a DLC character and the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds roster alongside Ichiban Kasuga and Joker. Starry Party is a distinct situation, putting her at the middle of her own game quite than being a guest in another person’s. Good Smile hasn’t shared anything about modes or mechanics yet, and with the teaser showing no gameplay, there’s lots left to disclose before the 2027 launch.
