As speculation continues to swirl about Sheamus potentially wrapping up his nearly two-decade run with WWE, a brand new report suggests that Triple H might not be the person responsible if the veteran ultimately leaves the corporate.
The discussion surfaced on WrestleVotes Live, where Joey Votes and TC talked concerning the possibility that Sheamus has already wrestled his final WWE match. Joey pointed to the recent six-man tag team match at Madison Square Garden alongside John Cena and Rey Mysterio, suggesting that it could find yourself being the ultimate appearance of all three WWE stars together. Joey Votes said,
“Speaking of John Cena, that’s going to grow to be Sheamus’ last match as well. Keep in mind that six-man on the Garden? That’s Sheamus, Cena and Rey Mysterio’s last match. That’s Sheamus’ last match.”
TC admitted that possibility is surprising given Triple H’s well-known admiration for the previous WWE Champion. Joey agreed, noting that Triple H has consistently been a supporter of Sheamus throughout his time overseeing WWE’s creative direction. TC Votes added,
“But this will not be a Triple H call. That is the powers that be above him that do the contracts, have numbers on guys.”
