Retired NFL star Julian Edelman is already looking forward to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce potentially expanding their family just days after attending their glamorous nuptials.
“There was a marriage, and it was awesome,” Edelman, 40, teased of Swift and Kelce’s big day during a Thursday, July 9, appearance on Yahoo! Sports Every day. “That’s where I’ll keep it. I don’t have a high enough pay grade to enter detail.”
He continued, “It was an unbelievable love story, I’ll leave it at that, and [I] can’t wait to observe those people reproduce humans and make insane people for this society.”
Edelman was among the many star-studded guests present at Recent York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, when Swift and Kelce, each 36, said “I do” after three years of dating.
“One hell of a (love) story. Congrats to Taylor and Travis 🍾,” Edelman wrote via Instagram afterward, sharing selfies together with his former Recent England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski and the tight end’s girlfriend, Camille Kostek. “Unbelievable day celebrating two incredible people.”
Swift and Kelce haven’t publicly divulged details from their nuptials, which a source told Us Weekly followed a garden party theme.
“The entire night felt really intimate and private despite being in an arena and the way star-studded the guest list was,” a source exclusively told Us earlier this week. “There have been about 1,000 guests there, however it felt intimate.”
In accordance with the insider, Travis and Swift transformed MSG into an enchanted garden with light peach drapery, coordinating floral arrangements, greenery, candles and framed photos of the couple.
“They transformed the venue into a sublime and unique wedding experience that reflected each their personalities,” a second source told Us. “It was decorated elegantly, incorporating their down-to-earth style mixed in.”
Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, has since hinted the ceremony was “magical,” while best man Jason Kelce had a “good time” imbibing greater than 15 beers on the reception.
The marriage also featured a black-tie dress code, wherein Travis and the Grammy winner donned bespoke, white Christian Dior high fashion ensembles.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They’re designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the bride and groom,” a rep for Swift revealed in a press release. “That is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. [Both of] their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”
