Chris Masters says Sean “Diddy” Combs can have been one in all the largest names to look in WWE, but that star power didn’t mechanically earn him respect behind the scenes.
Speaking during a recent edition of the “Contained in the Ring” podcast, the previous WWE Superstar recalled that Diddy’s backstage popularity wasn’t particularly positive. In response to Masters, several members of the locker room felt the music mogul carried himself with a very conceited attitude during his appearances with the corporate. He said,
“He just made a nasty impression on the boys because everybody just thought he was so filled with himself type of.”
“Diddy apparently had gotten some really exclusive rare, I don’t know if it was Jordan’s or something, but he had his assistant carrying it around on like this fluff pillow just trailing behind him the entire day.”
“, say what you wanted about wrestlers, but, I mean, you already know, to them that just got here off, that was a bit an excessive amount of.”
