Rhea Ripley could also be sidelined from WWE television, however the reigning WWE Women’s Champion recently made a public appearance away from the ring.
“The Eradicator” has been out of motion since successfully defending her title against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy, where she suffered a knee injury that has kept her off WWE programming. While fans proceed to attend for her return, Ripley was spotted attending Friday night’s Power Slap event.
Ripley was on the show alongside her husband, AEW star Buddy Matthews. In a video shared from the event, the couple revealed that it was their first time attending a Power Slap show, with Ripley saying that they were blown away by the experience after watching the competition live.
The WWE Women’s Champion was last seen on television wearing a knee brace during an in-ring promo, where she thanked Charlotte Flair for helping neutralize Michin and B-Fab during her Clash in Italy title defense against Jade Cargill. Since then, Ripley has disappeared from WWE programming, and reports have indicated that she is anticipated to miss SummerSlam 2026 as she continues recovering.
On the Power Slap event, Jake Hager was brutally knocked out. You’ll be able to try a video of that by clicking here.
