PHILWEB CORP. has entered into an exclusive partnership with iGaming software provider Pragmatic Play to supply the corporate’s gaming services to licensed gaming operators within the Philippines through PhilWeb’s technology platform.
In an announcement on Thursday, PhilWeb said it’s going to provide hosted services through its distant technology infrastructure and application programming interface (API)-enabled integration, allowing licensed operators to supply Pragmatic Play’s gaming services to finish users, subject to applicable regulatory approvals and contractual arrangements.
The services are expected to be available within the third quarter of 2026.
“This partnership represents a crucial milestone in PhilWeb’s long-term strategy of expanding its technology-enabled gaming services business,” PhilWeb President Edgar Brian K. Ng said.
“By collaborating with one in all the industry’s leading international gaming services providers, we’re positioned to broaden our industrial relationships with licensed operators while making a scalable and recurring revenue stream through technology-enabled services,” he added.
PhilWeb said Pragmatic Play’s gaming services are utilized by a majority of online gaming platforms licensed to operate within the Philippines.
It said the exclusive agreement is predicted to support its existing operator relationships and will help attract additional licensed operators.
The corporate also said the partnership could pave the best way for agreements with other international gaming services providers because it expands its technology-enabled gaming services business within the Philippines.
Pragmatic Play is an iGaming software provider based in Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory, and licensed by regulators in Great Britain, Gibraltar, and Malta. It offers online gaming products, including slots and live casino games through a single API integration. — Alexandria Grace C. Magno
