Victor Ortiz says it’s a shame regarding the news surrounding Floyd Mayweather despite their history

When previewing the matchup in an interview with Bloody Elbow, Ortiz shared his thoughts on the entire discuss Mayweather and his plans not coming to fruition.

“It’s a bummer, you already know. It’s a shame,” he said. “People all the time desired to see me versus Floyd but realistically, something like that, he’ll keep himself out of harm’s way. He knows what was going to occur. We weren’t going 12 rounds. I used to be going to knock him out but that was twelve years ago.”

“It was a reasonably long process, yeah, because you actually should wake as much as living with everyone just remembering that moment, you already know? It’s one in every of those things where regardless of what you have got to say, everyone has their opinion and their expectations. I asked for the rematch countless times, even at no cost. We all know that Floyd loves money. Keep all the cash. I just wish to knock you out.”
