Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid are officially WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after winning the titles at WWE Saturday Night’s Essential Event.
Representing Fatal Influence, Henley and Reid defeated Paige and Brie Bella to capture their first championship gold on WWE’s essential roster.
Nevertheless, the celebration was marred by multiple incidents involving fans as the brand new champions made their method to the backstage area.
Before Henley was handed one in all the championship belts, a fan kept a hand on her for several moments, prompting her to shout, “Get off me!”
A second incident occurred as Henley and Reid were walking up the doorway ramp, when a young fan reached out and shoved Henley. She immediately turned to confront the fan, but the published reduce to Paige and Brie Bella, who remained within the ring, before any further interaction was shown.
Henley later addressed the situation on social media with a transparent message to fans, writing, “Don’t touch the wrestlers. Period.”
