MMA legend Jon Jones couldn’t hide his admiration for one “very humble” UFC fighter that he has had the chance to cross paths with.
Jon Jones, who’s widely considered some of the devastating fighters in MMA history, called it time on his profession on the earth of combat sports in 2025.
The 39-year-old American star vacated the UFC heavyweight championship ahead of his retirement, following on from his last fight within the octagon back in 2024.
Jones overcame fellow UFC legend Stipe Miocic after he secured an excellent TKO win within the third round of his heavyweight title defense at UFC 309 in Latest York City.

Jon Jones appeared on The Ring Magazine’s YouTube channel and the UFC legend was asked for his two cents on MMA lightweight Arman Tsarukyan.
Arman Tsarukyan has been with Dana White’s promotion since 2019 and made his UFC debut in a unanimous decision loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC Fight Night 149.
The 29-year-old Armenian and Russian fighter has won 23 of his 26 fights contained in the octagon and Tsarukyan has only suffered three defeats in his skilled profession.
Speaking on Tsarukyan, Jones said: “Yeah, Arman, I’m a giant fan of Arman. I really like the way in which he carries himself.
“I really like the brand that he’s created. He has an awesome fighting style. I mean, I really like what he’s doing with Real American Freestyle and Nina Drama.”

Arman Tsarukyan has won his last five fights within the UFC and has not lost since his unanimous decision defeat to Mateusz Gamrot at UFC on ESPN 38 back in 2022.
Jones admitted that he’ll at all times throw his full backing behind Tsarukyan and admires what the UFC lightweight brings to the table on the earth of MMA.
“You understand, he’s such a successful man who doesn’t must fight,” he continued.
“He does it out of the goodness of martial arts and just genuinely loving it. These are the things I really like about Arman.
“I’ve got to fulfill him in person several times. Very humble man, and I’m at all times going to be in his corner.”
Tsarukyan’s last fight within the UFC got here in 2025 after his superb submission win over Dan Hooker within the second round of their UFC Fight Night 265 clash in Qatar.
