It Feels Like There Is At Least One Big Trade Out There This Offseason

It looks as if there may very well be not less than one big trade on the market this offseason

Each day Faceoff: Mike Rupp, when asked if there may be going to be one other big trade this offseason. Teams are talking, and it looks as if there will probably be someone. Exactly when it happens is a unique query.

Jason Gregor: “Do you think that we see a big trade between now and the beginning of the regular season?”

Rupp: “Yeah, I feel so. I don’t know which one, however it just looks as if a number of teams which have been surrounding and in conversations for giant moves this offseason.

We’ve seen stuff occur prior to the draft, prior free agency. It just appears like there’s one other one within the, within the chamber somewhere, doesn’t there? Prefer it just looks as if that is like considered one of those weird offseasons where we might need somewhat little bit of a lull now. I still think there’s teams that should make some changes that, that just haven’t been in a position to.

When do the Connor Hellebuyck and Dylan Larkin trades occur?

I mean, even when we’re going back to the trade deadline, like how long has there been so many teams that need center ice help? The asking price was so high on the deadline, we didn’t see it occur. It goes into the draft. We see a Vinny Trocheck trade that might help out a team like Utah, but there’s still other teams which might be in need of center ice help.

So I feel there’s probably one big one left here before the season starts.”

Gregor: “All right. Well, Dylan Larkin’s a middle iceman. Once Detroit gets a GM, perhaps that happens.”
