Elliotte Friedman: The Columbus Blue Jackets have submitted a $2.8 million number for his or her hearing on Thursday. Jet Greaves has submitted $7.5 million. The perimeters can reach a deal before their hearing starts, but once it starts, there can’t be a settlement.
The Dallas Stars re-sign Jason Robertson
Puck Pedia: The Dallas Stars have re-signed RFA forward Jason Robertson to a one-year, $12 million deal. All salary, no bonuses. He’s scheduled to turn out to be a UFA next July 1st, and isn’t eligible to sign a contract extension until January 1st.
Puck Pedia: The Stars are actually $1.36 million over the cap with a 22-man roster and Tyler Seguin on the IR. They’ll have to send a player or two all the way down to be compliant for his or her opening roster submission.
