Seth Rollins is gearing up for WWE SummerSlam 2026, and he believes that his primary event is healthier than the Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk match. Speaking on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, he revealed his thoughts on the two-night pay-per-view event. Rollins said,
“Gosh, I don’t know if I’ve had (laughs) much experience with night two to be honest with you. I take into consideration my Mania history, we did SummerSlam obviously last 12 months was a two-nighter but I didn’t wrestle on it, I just cashed-in the Money within the Bank contract at the tip of night one.”
“Most of my WrestleManias have been night one, so far as matches are concerned. So yeah, I assume I’ll let after Sunday night.”
“No, I prefer the pressure of the primary event. I just like the pressure, I need all of it. That’s why you get into the business is to primary event the large shows. No offense but if you happen to’re getting in and also you’re like ‘You recognize what, I’d prefer to be the second match on the cardboard, then you definately’re within the flawed business. I believe all of us wish to be at the highest and the highest is the match that goes on last.
“I don’t care what anybody says, I do know there’s a whole lot of conversation across the WrestleMania primary events now that there’s two nights, but I’m of the sensation that night two, the last match that goes on is the cash drawer. That’s the large match, that’s the marquee match and so, that’s the business I got into so I’m all the time wanting to shut the show.”
