Aaron Portzline: Despite the rumors coming out of Russia, have been told that there’s nothing happening on the Marchenko front.
Under the impression that the Blue Jackets haven’t taken calls on Marchenko since early summer. Things can all the time change later this summer.

Marco D’Amico: The RG report wasn’t , was just mentioned in it. Can confirm that Montreal Canadiens are very interested if thinks around Marchenko pick up.

Could a Kirill Marchenko trade occur soon?
Hockeyy Insiderr: Have been told that the Canadiens have been given permission to talk with Marchenko’s agent Dan Milstein a couple of potential contract extension in case a trade gets finalized. If discussions remain positive, a trade could occur today.

- David Ettedgui: Marchenko is a top-six winger that may rating 25 to 30 goals and is 6 foot 3. He would pair nicely with Ivan Demidov, but the price to accumulate will determine if it’s price it. We must always know more in the approaching days or even weeks.
