Today’s kids are built in a different way! And a few of them are able to take over the world.
Two journalists, who aren’t even in highschool yet, are making waves within the media with their amazing reporting styles, well-thought out questions and all-around rapport while interviewing celebrities and sports figures.
Meet Jazlyn Guerra, AKA Jazzy Of “Jazzy’s World TV”
Jazlyn Guerra is just 13 years old and already has a formidable list of individuals’s she’s interviewed. The Bushwick, Brooklyn resident has been interviewing celebrities and sports figures since she was just 9 years old.
In November 2021, Guerra went viral for her interview with rapper Jay-Z. She shares clips of interviews with some big names in entertainment and sports on her YouTube channel and on Instagram.
Her confidence was noticed by Jay-Z. When she asked him for advice for youths about being successful, he told her, “Imagine in yourself, even before anyone else believes in you. Gotta have ultimate confidence, such as you do. You’re very confident. And just imagine in yourself.”
More recently, she covered the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, talking to many big stars and NBA players.
While she may look calm, cool and picked up during each of her impressive interviews, she told Complex in late 2021 that she sometimes has to offer herself slightly pep talk ahead of time.
“Before my interviews, while I’m walking as much as them, I don’t need to get nervous at times, but I even have to breathe in and breathe out, and I tell myself, ‘Jazzy, you’ll be able to do the job, you’ll be able to do it!’” she said. “After which I exploit that nervousness and I turn it into excitement, and that’s how you may see my charisma in my interviews because I’m normally turning my nervousness into excitement.”
Meet Jeremiah Fennell Of “Jeremiah One And Five”
Jeremiah Fennell, 11, is on his technique to a formidable sports journalist profession. In actual fact, he already has one at such a young age. He recently covered the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Weekend like the professional that he’s.
His website shares his story and the way he got into sports journalism at such a young age. Determination, drive, and manifestation all play a job in his success. He also has an lively Instagram page where he shares photos and videos from his interviews.
In line with his website, Fennell’s parents referred to him as a “miracle baby.”
“His parents were told by several specialists that Jeremiah could also be born either prematurely or may even be a stillborn. It was discovered during an amniocentesis that he was missing a gland in his brain (Septum Pellucidum). It was also discovered during several doctors appointments, ultrasounds, and multiple panels of bloodwork that Jeremiah had a detached right clavicle, Other brain abnormalities and possible lack of the flexibility to listen to. He was Breeched during your complete 30 week pregnancy and was born via Cesarean surgery,” his website explains.
“He began preschool on the age of three years old but was kicked off this system 1 12 months later resulting from being too advanced for the curriculum. Jeremiah began showing early signs that not only had he beaten all the chances that were stacked against him at birth but he was truly a gifted child.”
At just 2-years-old, Fennell began doing play-by-plays while watching Raiders games on TV. His love of football and commentating the games led him to where he’s today. At 4-years-old, he would practice interviewing players after which began to manifest out loud that he’ll someday work for the Raiders.
When the team was relocated to Fennell’s hometown of Las Vegas, it seemed his manifestation was coming to light. He began his YouTube channel in April 2020 doing Raiders postgame highlights.
“As a consequence of his medical issues he’s unable to play contact sports resulting from the fear of causing seizures and further problems along with his cranium. So after playing t-ball, flag football and bitty basketball. He decided to work more on his journalism craft,” the web site continues.
“On October 8, 2022 Jeremiah became the primary journalist to affix Sports 4 Free Youthmedia where he was given the chance to indicate the world that each one his exertions and countless hours of pretending to interview athletes was not a waste of time.”
Guerra and Fennell, the longer term stars of journalism, have even worked together prior to now. They recently shared a video of their time together on the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.

One other Future Sports Leader To Watch For: Coach CB!
We couldn’t talk in regards to the way forward for sports without mentioning Christopher Bess, aka Coach CB. At just 4-years-old, he takes coaching highschool basketball very seriously!
Coach CB is the son of Reggie Bess, the Tarboro basketball head coach. Reggie noticed last 12 months that his son was kind of taking on the team and had something special occurring.
“To me actually it began type of rather a lot last 12 months. I never noticed it because I’m so into the sport for us coaching,” Reggie told WNCT.
CB is at all times in basketball mode, watching games at home and giving motivating speeches within the locker room.
“I’m gonna coach my butt off and also you’re gonna play your butt off,” he told the team within the locker room during a pre-game speech.
His Instagram page is taking off with greater than 45,000 followers to date. Remember his name!
