Actor and singer Anveshi Jain spoke to Filmfare about her first-ever single Banjaare. The song’s video has been directed by Shershaah director, Vishnu Vardhan. Anveshi spoke about working with Vishnu Vardhan on set, she said, “Oh it’s such a delight to work with Vishnu. He makes the shoot look really easy and fun. He has phenomenal clarity and precision when he comes on set. One thing I learnt from him is ready is a holy place where every minute costs money. One should come absolutely prepared and with utmost clarity on to what’s to be done that day. “
She further spoke about how she decided to be a component of Banjaare, “After I met the lyricist and the composer of Banjaare, they began writing the lyrics of the song. Inside a few hours the lyrics were roughly ready, the lyricist told me that you simply seem like someone who would love the best way it has been mentioned within the lyrics. He added I feel you could be a lover like this, you’ll take pride in a person without an expectations and claim that love. Right then I knew that this can be a gift I didn’t seek but walked my way. I had a gut feeling that this might be the appropriate project for me and hence I stuck to it.”
Anveshi also recalled how she shot to fame post singing several covers and there have been plenty of people round her who constantly told her to single her own original song. Nonetheless, Anveshi waited for the appropriate project. Today as she celebrates her 25th birthday, her first single Banjaare is out for everybody to hearken to.
