We reported earlier here on eWn that Becky Lynch got fans talking with an Instagram post on Sunday night.
Following the airing of her Biography: WWE Legends episode, Lynch took to Instagram to thank the fans. She wrote,
“It’s been a helluva profession. Being the Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV.”
While many fans speculated that Lynch’s “it’s been a helluva profession” line can have been a sign that she was retiring, that doesn’t seem like the case. Fightful Select is reporting that if she is officially retired, WWE officials and higher-ups haven’t been notified about it. Those self same sources further indicated that if Lynch did retire, they didn’t imagine that it might be done via an Instagram post.
For what it’s price, Lynch is currently not under contract with WWE. As a consequence of this, she wouldn’t be under an obligation to notify the corporate if she’s now retired.
Finally, it was added that Lynch is having fun with her break day today and WWE higher-ups need to be respectful in giving her some space during this time. The Man can be welcomed back in WWE if she’s considering doing so.
