In his caption, Sidharth expressed his passion for various sports, saying, “From Delhi streets to film sets, my love for cricket stays unchanged! Sports were all the time a giant a part of my life—basketball, club level rugby, football, and naturally, gully cricket.” He added, “They helped shape me into who I’m today and built my physical and mental strength. Now, shoot breaks are only an excuse for a fast cricket fix!” His post resonated with fans, lots of whom took to the comments to precise their desire to see him play Yuvraj Singh within the cricketer’s upcoming biopic.
The biopic, announced earlier this month, is about to be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Ravi Bhagchandka under T-Series and 200 Not Out Cinema. Fans are hopeful that Sidharth Malhotra might land the role, following his recent post. Moreover, Sidharth is rumored to be in talks for Race 4, a reboot of the favored franchise.
