Eddie Hall believes that Brian Shaw’s power will see him proceed to win when he returns to East vs West Arm Wrestling this weekend.
Shaw is ready to tackle Leonidas Arkona within the co-main event of East vs West Arm Wrestling on April 18 in Germany, which airs on global pay-per-view. He’s a four-time World’s Strongest Man, while Hall has won it once.

Arkona is a known strongman as well, and has more experience in competitive arm wrestling than the American. But Hall – who’s currently preparing for a Misfits Boxing fight with Tommy Fury – is confident that his friend will get the job done.
Eddie Hall backs Brian Shaw in East vs West showdown
Having undergone strongman tournaments, MMA training and even an ill-fated effort at sumo wrestling together, Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw are experts on each other’s athletic abilities. And the British star could be very confident that his pal can get the win this weekend in Germany.
Shaw has had just a few competitive arm wrestling bouts, most famously defeating Hall in a very heated showdown. Meanwhile his rival Leonidas Arkona has a bit more experience on the table, and against more veteran opposition.
Nonetheless, Hall believes in Shaw’s abilities, telling Bloody Elbow in an exclusive chat: “Look, I’ve arm wrestled Brian myself and he’s a giant, strong guy. But this can be a tough opponent, he’s going up against an actual experienced arm wrestler.
“He’s got his work cut out for him, but I feel Brian will get it. The thing is with Brian, he’s a natural giant of this world and that may’t be underestimated.
“Once you’ve got a man who’s 6’9 and 400lb of body weight without even trying after which put him within the gym? That’s a scary human being.”
