Caitlyn Jenner says that she is unable to travel internationally following President Donald Trump’s passport policy.
“It is a safety factor. I can’t travel internationally anymore. I can’t use my passport,” Jenner, 76, claimed on a recent episode of the “Tomi Lahren is Fearless” podcast. “I can use Global Entry [because] it says ‘F.’ I can travel in the USA.”
Jenner, who publicly got here out as transgender in 2015, revealed that her driver’s and pilot’s licenses each have an “F” marker. Trump’s administration, meanwhile, signed an executive order in January 2025 that only allowed passports to match a person’s “biological sex at birth.”
“We now not issue U.S. passports or Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBAs) with an X marker,” the State Department website reads. “We only issue a passport with an M or F sex marker that matches the client’s biological sex at birth.”
The web site statement continued, “In case you submit a passport application requesting an X marker or requesting a sex marker that differs from the sex marker at your birth, you could experience delays getting your passport. … We’ll issue you a brand new passport that matches your biological sex at birth, based in your supporting documents and our records about your previous passports.”
In accordance with Jenner, the manager order has since created a “big problem” every time she travels.
“I’m attempting to determine at this point what to do. I don’t blame President Trump, I like him,” the Olympian said. “For numerous people, it is a huge issue. That’s sort of where I’m at right away. I even have not talked to the president.”
Jenner further claimed that she wrote Trump, 49, a letter when she visited his Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida earlier this yr.
“[I explained] all of this to him, the way it’s affecting me and numerous other people,” she said. “Unfortunately, he wasn’t there that weekend. The Secret Service guy said he could get it to him, put it on his desk and stuff. I haven’t heard from him. He’s sort of busy right away. My gender marker will not be big on the problem”
While Jenner reiterated that she didn’t personally blame Trump for her passport problems, the previous reality TV star is merely attempting to determine her next steps.
“I’m attempting to determine now, what’s the subsequent step to attempt to figure this out because even to vote now you might have to have proper identification, and I don’t have that,” Jenner said. “I don’t know what’s going to occur because I don’t think this was really thought out what this implies.”
