‘Van de Ven, possibly. Van de Ven and Djed Spence, actually. Djed Spence.’

Ferdinand’s former teammate Louis Saha has also backed a move for van de Ven, believing his presence will serve United well next season after they hope to be competing within the Champions League once more.
‘We’ve players in attacking areas and on the wings, defensively now we have a whole lot of options, but Micky van de Ven can be an exciting addition if he is out there,’ Saha said.
