Dana White and Eddie Hearn’s disagreement continues to get increasingly intense – despite the fact that there won’t be a fight at the tip of it.
UFC CEO White was the one to initially float the concept of a boxing match between the rival promoters during a joking interview because the pair’s feud grew more serious. Hearn, who’s a decade his junior and over half a foot taller, has since been pushing the problem intensely.
Who wins in a fight? Dana White or Eddie Hearn
Dana White has claimed to be open to a boxing match with Eddie Hearn: Who do you think that would win in the event that they met within the ring?
Tonight, each men placed on events in Liverpool and Winnipeg respectively, and spoke to the gathered media. Hearn launched a nuclear verbal attack on White, while the UFC boss generally repeated his generic lines concerning the pair not deserving to headline an enormous event.
Eddie Hearn asks Dana White ‘where are your balls’ in epic rant
Eddie Hearn appears to be truly excited concerning the prospect of getting within the ring with Dana White, despite having next to no boxing experience. And after his show on the M&S Bank Arena tonight, he tore into the UFC boss once more, insisting that he was the explanation it isn’t moving forward.
“The one thing that may stop the fight happening is Dana White,” Hearn noted, before branding the American a p—-. “So really, the reality of the matter is, he’s backing out of the fight that he called on. So who’s the p—- now? Where’s your balls gone, you p—-? Something like that, I don’t know.
“I mean, you’ll be able to’t keep calling me a p—- once you call me out for a fight, and I accept the fight, and you then go, ‘Oh, no, no, we’re bums, it might go on earlier within the night’. What the f— is that? We might primary event and sell out an enormous stadium.
“And if it’s on DAZN – do you not agree with me? Do you not think we’d sell out The O2? Do you not think we’d do over one million buys globally? Don’t forget, he’s an enormous name, right? I mean, some may say larger than me. Well, I don’t know. But definitely in America.
“So we’ve got the American audience, we’ve got the UK audience. Are you able to imagine how the f— I might sell this show? Oh, my God. Anyway, it’s all probably fantasy, but I do give it some thought on every run.
“In bed every night I’ve picked my ring walk, I’ve actually designed my robe. But, like I said, it’ll probably just be fantasy because unfortunately, Dana White backed out of the fight.”
Dana White blasts back at Eddie Hearn amid fight talks
Across the pond in Canada a number of hours later, White was vaguely asked concerning the fight by a member of the media. Hearn’s comments weren’t explicitly mentioned, but he repeated what has change into a trope about how they’re each too bad at boxing to feature on a card with real fighters.
Dana White or Eddie Hearn: Who’s one of the best promoter?
Pick your favorite combat sports promoter
“Eddie said that me and him are the largest fight in boxing,” White said. “Therein lies the issue with boxing.
“And the proven fact that a fight promoter who’s actually placed on big fights and had a stable of excellent fighters would say something that f—ing silly is now beginning to not be as shocking because it was to start with. You’re a f—ing bum, I’m old, and we don’t even should be on a card with a bunch of real fighters.”
