Vince Russo is pushing back hard on Triple H following the latter’s recent comments about WWE creative, taking issue with each the general philosophy and the way it reflects on leadership.
During a recent edition of his “The Brand” podcast, Russo slammed WWE’s Chief Content Officer. He said,
“Bro, he — he did this. This guy doesn’t know what he’s doing. He doesn’t belong in that spot. You never have the mindset, ‘Oh, this might be an okay show. That is going to be mediocre — it’s not going to be a fantastic show.’ Bro, this guy mustn’t be in that spot.”
“The one — guys, let’s stop. Let’s stop. The guy’s on this spot because he married Stephanie. Period, end of story, bro. He’s got no business on this spot. He hasn’t been successful on this spot. He’s been a failure on this spot. The product sucks because he’s on this spot, and that’s the one reason he’s on this spot.”
“What is that this ebb and flow? Like, it’s purported to be good — not like — why? He’s such an idiot, bro. He’s such an idiot. He has no idea what he’s talking about. It just seems like he’s making up excuses. That is the guy that made me stop watching wrestling after God knows what number of years. I don’t watch it anymore due to the product they were putting out. He’s liable for that, bro. Irrespective of what he says — ebbs and flows — there’s no backup. Irrespective of what he desires to say, you might be the guy responsible.”
