The killer even has a weird modus operandi involving bondage and the 1959 pop hit “Sea of Love” that Hannibal Lecter would appreciate. However it all works due to Pacino and Barkin, who share real chemistry as a damaged couple drawn together by their mutual traumas. Two wrongs normally don’t make a right, but Frank and Helen prove to be the exception to that rule.

‘Red Eye’ (2005)

A remake of the obscure 2003 Korean film Save the Green Planet!, Bugonia is an entertaining ride that incorporates one of the shocking endings of 2025. Stone and Plemons are superb, and the movie casts a wierd, unsettling spell over you that’s tough to shake off.
‘Conclave’ (2024)

‘Speak No Evil’ (2024)
