Brian Cage Endorses Darby Allin As World Champion, Anthony Bowens Invites Rob Gronkowski To AEW

Brian Cage has stepped in to defend Darby Allin’s AEW World Championship win amid criticism about Allin’s size and look.

In an in depth post on Twitter, Cage declared that Allin fully earned the title, praised his in-ring performance, risk-taking, and reference to fans.

The Swolverine argued that Allin now comes across as a totally credible and believable AEW World Champion. He wrote,

“I’ve noticed some criticism over @DarbyAllin winning the @AEW title. Firstly, this guy absolutely deserves it. He’s not only an exceptional in ring employee and bleeds aew, but this guy is the epitome of getting yourself over. Darby kills himself week after week, in a brand new, creative, and destructive way. Yet by some means gets back up, repeatedly.

I’m “the” bodyguy, and yes, Darby could be very small. But he has fought harder than anyone to get the people behind him, and has grow to be very believable in his matches. So huge stamp of a approval from me to have him as world champion. And bonus points for the shock pop and the decision back headlock takeover finish.”

AEW star Anthony Bowens has publicly invited NFL legend Rob Gronkowski to seem in AEW.

Bowens shared a photograph with Gronk on Twitter and told fans that he asked him to return to AEW.

Gronk, a longtime WWE fan and former 24/7 Champion, recently hosted a WrestleMania 42 afterparty in Las Vegas, NV.
