WWE’s Alexa Bliss has taken aim at a brand new horror film, seeing the project as little greater than a rip-off of Bray Wyatt’s popular Firefly Fun House.
On Twitter, several fans took issue with ‘Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round’, arguing that the tone and presentation of the film are too much like the Fun House.
One post by a fan caught the eye of Bliss, who agreed that the film was a blatant rip-off of the ideas from Wyatt, who died in 2023.
Bliss joined the Fun House during Wyatt’s feud with Braun Strowman in 2020, as Bliss had been Strowman’s partner within the Mixed Match Challenge.
The Fun House would end in Bliss becoming a darker character on TV, and the consequences of this character shift are still present all these years later.
An IMDB description of Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round reads,
“A children’s TV show host, ensnared in a case of amnesia, must confront his missing memories as his puppet co-stars activate him.”
Wyatt introduced the Firefly Fun House in 2019 and would capture the WWE Universal Championship from Seth Rollins that very same 12 months.
