Tom Aspinall insists he has no plans to alter sports within the near future.

The UFC heavyweight champion has been heavily linked with a move from MMA to boxing for years.

Tom Aspinall recently added fuel to the fireplace by signing a take care of boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, who will act because the Englishman’s advisor moving forward.

Tom Aspinall commits himself to the UFC

Tom Aspinall was asked about potentially moving into boxing during a recent trip to Croatia.

The 33-year-old added former WBA light heavyweight champion Stipe Drviš to his team last yr.

Aspinall insists the 32-2 ring legend’s task is to assist him achieve more in MMA.

“Perhaps,” he said when asked if Drviš could help him transition to boxing.

“To be honest, I ain’t serious about boxing that much at once.

“No. I’ve got more stuff to do with the UFC.”

Tom Aspinall has been sidelined since being poked in each eyes by Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 in October 2025.

The heavyweight knockout artist underwent double eye surgery after his first title defense resulted in a no-contest.

Aspinall has excited fans by sharing footage of him back within the gym ahead of his eagerly anticipated comeback.

Nevertheless, he’s “not back training fully yet”, so an interim heavyweight title has been created.

All being well, Aspinall should unify the division by facing the winner of Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane, which can co-main event the UFC White House card on June 14.
