Francis Ngannou picks Tyson Fury to beat Anthony Joshua
In a recent interview with The Schmo, Francis Ngannou was asked for his prediction on the upcoming Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua fight. He has shared 12 rounds with the pair collectively, and felt each men’s power first hand.
He seems to think that although he performed a lot better against Fury, the Manchester native will probably be too skilful for Joshua who knocked him out inside two rounds. He also noted that the undoing of Fury of their razor-close fight was likely resulting from the unorthodox nature of his MMA training.
“If I actually have to favor someone it’s going to be very slight,” Ngannou said. “I’ll go for Fury, because he could be very slick. He does well with skilled boxing, he only doesn’t understand [how to deal with an opponent] when it’s not a professional boxer.”
Fury would have been favored for years between the pair, however it appears to be fairly even between the 2 as they compete long after each of their primes.
