Sagar Parekh is someone who has tried different sorts of roles on screen, and folks have noticed that about him. But away from acting, there’s one thing that’s very near him – dance. On International Dance Day, the actor opened up about his reference to dance and the way it has a special meaning in his life.
Sagar Parekh On His Love & Connection With Dance
For Sagar, dance isn’t just something he does; it’s something he feels inside. He explained, “Dance means far more than simply movements to me. I mean it’s expression, emotion, discipline and a solution to connect with people without saying a word. It gives me just a little sense of freedom and brings out the purest version of myself, I feel.”
Looking back, Sagar still remembers the precise moment when this bond began – it wasn’t planned or forced, it just happened naturally. He shared, “I still remember the primary time I connected with dance. It was on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa after my first performance. It was the sensation of joy and energy that just moved me otherwise.”

That early experience stayed with him, and slowly, what began as a robust feeling became something much greater. He confessed, “Over time, that feeling became passion and has only grown stronger. Today, dance shouldn’t be something that I do; it has grow to be an element of me.”
When asked a couple of dream collaboration, Sagar shared his admiration for a reputation he has looked as much as for years. “If I needed to collaborate with any choreographer within the industry, I believe my dream pick would definitely be Ganesh Acharya, sir. Due to his energy, creativity and larger-than-life choreography, I believe that style is actually inspiring for me, and I’d love to try this. It’s not about perfection or pressure for him; it’s about feeling present within the moment and letting that emotion flow.”

He was a part of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. As per a Bollywood Bubble source, Sagar is currently in talks to take part in Khatron Ke Khilladi 15.
